Good afternoon,

As a follow up to last week’s email, we’d like to ensure all of our partners know Maryland Health Connection is open for business, and we are committed to providing affordable health insurance Marylanders.

Here are a few ways you can help us spread important news to vulnerable populations who are affected by the coronavirus and its impact on individuals, families and businesses across the state.

If you have 1 minute today…

Make sure your community knows all uninsured Marylanders can sign up for coverage during our Coronavirus Emergency Special Enrollment now until April 15, as concern about not having health insurance may be heightened during this public health crisis. Use our Coronavirus Special Enrollment Toolkit to spread the word on social media.

You’ll find graphics in both English and Spanish. Be sure to scroll down to the bottom of the page for downloadable newsletter and consumer messaging.

Tell your community: “If your income has been reduced or you have lost your job, you may be eligible for financial help with your private health plan or you may qualify for Medicaid. If you’ve lost your job, you have 60 days to enroll.

If you have 5 minutes today…

Please forward this email to community leaders in your network and help us spread the word! Encourage them to utilize the toolkit. Your engagement and proactivity are vital as we work to provide important information to Marylanders in need.

We value your ongoing help and support and couldn’t do this without you! Thanks for all you do. If we can support you in other ways, please reach out to Katie Hocker, outreach coordinator, at Katherine.Hocker@Maryland.Gov.
