Nature of Service Requested: Investigation of Possible Military Ordnance
Action Taken/ Resolution: The Office of the Maryland State Fire Marshal Bomb Squad personnel determined the military ordnance to be a 75 mm armor piercing projectile which contained no explosive component. The military ordnance was recovered by Bomb Squad personnel.
Assisting Agencies: Federalsburg Police Department
Additional Information: The property manager was removing debris from the backyard of the incident address when he unearthed the military ordnance. The property manager promptly contacted local authorities resulting in the response from the Office of the Maryland State Fire Marshal Bomb Squad.
