ANNUAL FIREWORKS SAFETY PRESS CONFERENCE & DEMONSTRATION
HOWARD COUNTY, MD (June 6, 2019) - A fireworks safety news conference has been scheduled for Thursday, June 25, 2020 at 10:00 AM to provide the media and community with accurate information regarding fireworks laws and use - including Ground-based Sparkling Devices - applicable to all Maryland jurisdictions.
The conference will feature Brian S. Geraci, State Fire Marshal, along with invited speakers from Howard County Fire & EMS
There will also be a safety briefing and demonstration of legal and illegal explosive devices by the Office of the State Fire Marshal's Bomb Squad. All participants will be available for group or individual interviews after the demonstrations.
