MISSING ARROW CENTER TEENS LOCATED

HARFORD COUNTY, MD (May 4, 2020) - Destiny Hailie Madera and Kaylee Danae Wright, both 16 years old girls, who are residents of the Arrow Child and Family Ministry Center located at 2408 Creswell Road, have been located.  They have been returned to the care and custody of Arrow Center staff. Both were reported missing after they were last seen on Saturday, May 2, 2020, at approximately 1:00 a.m.

Investigators were concerned about their wellbeing after a two-alarm fire was reported on Sunday, May 3, 2020, at 11:10 a.m. at a vacant property located on the same grounds at the Arrow Center, however, it is not owned or operated by the company.  The large Victorian mansion was built in 1868 for the last owner of Harford Furnace, Clement Dietrich. Many in Harford County knew it as Old Main for the former Eastern Christian College. It took over 50 firefighters almost two hours to control the blaze. No injuries were reported.

Deputy State Fire Marshals are being assisted by agents with the Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives (ATF), their federal partner in fire and explosive investigations. The Office of the State Fire Marshal has a long history of working hand-in-hand with the ATF and is standard protocol in most large and significant fire losses.

The origin and cause of the fire remain under investigation. Investigators attempted to gain access to the building, however, were hampered by the collapse of several floors within the structure. Investigators will be working to secure excavators in assisting with debris removal.

Anyone with information, is asked to contact the Northeast Regional Office at 410-836-4844.
