Preliminary Cause: Accidental - due to electrical failure
Additional Information: The ocupant was asleep in his front enclosed porch area and was awoken by the 911 caller. The fire originated within the wall and due to the balloon frame construction, quickly extended into the attic and roof area. The occupant was displaced and is being assisted by Harford County Disaster Assistance.
