Preliminary Cause: The accidental fire was a result of improperly disposing legal, ground-based sparkling devices in a trash can after use. 

Additional Information: The Office of the State Fire Marshal would like to remind all residents to douse any fireworks in a bucket of water after they are used and before disposal.
