HAGERSTOWN MAN CHARGED WITH ARSON THREAT
WASHINGTON COUNTY, MD (April 16, 2019) - Deputy State Fire Marshals have charged a Hagerstown man after he made a threat of arson. Sebastian Cloudas, 29, of Hagerstown, was taken into custody this evening on an arrest warrant without incident.
On April 11, 2019, at approximately 4:00 p.m., investigators were requested to respond to 16904 Alcott Road after Cloudas made arson threats towards a former roommate. Clouadas became angry and increasingly belligerent after discovering his personal property had been removed from the residence.
Deputy State Fire Marshals discovered Cloudas made several threatening statements including how he was going to blow up the house and described how he was going to set fire to the home with the victim and his family inside. After a brief investigation, the threats were confirmed and determined to be credible.
Cloudas was charged with one count of Arson Threat. He was transported to Washington County Detention Center where he is currently awaiting bond review.
