Preliminary Cause:  Accidental

Additional Information:  The fire was discovered by a firefighter traveling on Poor House Road.  He observed smoke coming from the back of the home.  The investigation revealed that failure of an electrical switch was the cause of the fire.  The homeowner was displaced and is being assisted by friends.  There were no injuries as a result of this incident.
