Additional Information:

A suspicious package was discovered near the ticket office by an Amtrak police officer while on routine patrol.  Amtrak shut down the ticket booth and evacuated the immediate area and suspended service to the southbound track before requesting a Bomb Squad response.  Maryland State Fire Marshal's Bomb Squad worked with members from nearby Bomb Squads to examine the package and determine it posed no threat.  The area was turned back over to Amtrak and service was quickly restored to the station and tracks.  All units cleared the scene without incident.
