Injuries or Deaths:  The victim incurred 2nd and 3rd degree burns to upper arm, shoulder and back after her shirt ignited as she cooked on a gas stove.

Preliminary Cause:  Accidential - Clothing ignited after contact with flame from gas stove while cooking. 

Additional Information:  After noticing her shirt had ignited, the victim immediately extinguished the fire and 911 was called for assistance.  The victim was initially transported from the scene to University of Maryland Shore Medical Center at Easton for evaluation, and subsequently was transported to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center for further treatment of her injuries.  The victim's condition was last reported as stable.
