Additional Information: An occupant of the apartment building heard a noise, upon checking she discovered a fire on the balcony. The fire was contained to the exterior balcony  after only (1) sprinkler head activated. The fire was contained to a small table with minor damage to a door. Deputy State Fire Marshals credit the sprinkler for containing and later extinguishing the fire. It is without a doubt the fire would have extended and most likely would have caused significant damage if it were not for the sprinkler system.  Because of the minimal damage, the occupants were able to stay in their apartment for the night.
