Preliminary Cause: Accidental - due to flue fire, subsequently igniting roof
Additional Information: The Staton's had a fire in their fireplace when they heard the fire alarm sounding. Upon checking, a neighbor advised they had a fire at their flue. The fire was contained to the flue as well as the roof with significant water damage to the second floor condo (Unit H). A total of (4) people in (2) units are displaced. Harford County Disaster Assistance is assisting.
