WORK TO RESULT IN TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF SOUTHBOUND I-895 AT MORAVIA ROAD THIS WEEKEND

Southbound I-895 at Moravia Road in Baltimore will be closed temporarily to traffic.  The detour will direct motorists to Moravia Road (Exit 14) with access to westbound US 40 or southbound I-95.

Note: Ramps to access to southbound I-895 will also be closed at Moravia Road, US 40, Ponca Street and O'Donnell Street ramps. In addition, the oversized vehicle hauling permit transfer lot at O’Donnell Street and Interstate Avenue will be closed for paving operations starting Friday, November 18, at 12 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday, November 21.

WHEN:   Weather permitting, starting Friday, November 18, at 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday, November 20.

WHY:    Crews will be performing essential roadway repairs at Childs Street Bridge.
