WORK TO RESULT IN I-695 CLOSURES IN SOUTHEAST BALTIMORE DURING WEEKENDS IN SEPTEMBER

The Inner Loop of I-695 at Quarantine Road will be closed temporarily to traffic.  The detour will direct motorists to Exit 1 (Quarantine Road), continue through traffic light, to Inner Loop I-695.  One lane of the Inner or Outer Loops across the I-695 Key Bridge will be closed continuously.  Only one lane on the bridge will be closed per weekend.

Use I-95 as an alternate route.

WHEN:    Weather permitting, the Inner Loop at Quarantine Road will close Friday, Sept. 6, at 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday, Sept. 9, and Friday, Sept. 13, at 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday, Sept. 16.  Work also may be performed Friday, Sept. 20, at 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday, Sept. 23.

Weather permitting, the Inner and Outer Loop single-lane closures will be from:

  • Friday, Sept. 6, at 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday, Sept. 9;
  • Friday, Sept. 13, at 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday, Sept. 16;
  • Friday, Sept. 20, at 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday, Sept. 23; and
  • Friday, Sept. 27, at 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday, Sept. 30.
