We're back at Brookside!
After several years of virtual awards announcements due to Covid restrictions, we will be back in person on June 22, 2023, to announce the Maryland Green Registry Sustainability Leadership Award winners. Maryland Department of the Environment Secretary Serena McIlwain will present the awards as part of the One Montgomery Green Gala at beautiful Brookside Gardens in Wheaton, MD.
Maryland Green Registry members are invited to use the Promo Code MGRMEMBER for $10 off registration. Register by May 31 for additional Early Registration discounts.
Come learn what grassroots environmental groups like One Montgomery Green and others are doing for their communities and leave refreshed and inspired by the natural surroundings.
Hope to see you there!

Summer is coming!
If your green team has a lot of project ideas, but not a lot of time, consider bringing on a summer intern. Internship programs can help attract new talent to your organization and provide a fresh approach to your sustainability efforts. Feel free to post intern opportunities to the Maryland Green Registry LinkedIn Group page as well as to other job sites. Maryland Green Registry members that have summer interns may also want to consider collaborating with other member companies to give their interns an opportunity to gain a wider view of environmental best practices.
For manufacturers, consider the Maryland Manufacturing Technology Extension Partnership Intern Program, which provides additional educational opportunities for interns throughout the summer. Note that there is a June 1, 2023, deadline for manufacturers to enroll in that program.
