Adopt a Highway
Spring is coming and if your organization is organizing a litter pick up, why not do it on your own stretch of road? Contact the Adopt-A-Highway Coordinator in your county who will guide you through the process, identify a stretch of highway to adopt, and provide you with safety training materials and supplies. If you wish to adopt a road not maintained by the State Highway Administration, contact your local public works agency. Many of them have Adopt-a-Road programs.
