Flip the switch!
What a better way to celebrate the summer solstice than to let the sun illuminate your office space. The annual Daylight Hour campaign asks participants to turn off lights in naturally lit office spaces for one hour, 12 noon to 1 p.m., on Friday, June 21, 2019. The Maryland Department of the Environment and Maryland Energy Administration will be participating again this year and encouraging employees to join in a group walk at lunch time. To participate, visit www.daylighthour.org, sign up your organization, and spread the word #daylighthour
