The Maryland Green Registry Leadership Award application period is now open!
The Leadership Awards are presented each year to five member organizations that have shown a strong commitment to sustainable practices, measurable results, and continual improvement.The award application asks for brief responses to just two questions so take a few minutes and submit by the April 30 deadline to get the recognition you deserve!
The awards will be presented on June 28th in partnership with One Montgomery Green and USGBC Maryland. It will be an evening of fun, food, drinks, live music, an educational workshop, and of course, access to the gardens. The registration site will be live soon and posted to the Leadership Awards page.

If you are hosting or sponsoring an event this year, let others know by posting it to the Maryland Green Registry LinkedIn Group.
If you'd like to gather employees and join an existing event, search Volunteermatch.org, Project Clean Stream, or visit Environmental Volunteers and select your county to connect with groups in your area.
Maryland Green Registry members are also invited to join the Maryland Department of the Environment in cleaning up a section of the Patapsco River in Linthicum Heights. The event will take place Tuesday, April 24 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 p.m. Be sure to register with the Patapsco Heritage Greenway here.

Free Technical Assistance for Food Processors
There is an opportunity for two food processing and/or institutional food service providers to receive free consulting services in assessing waste reduction, energy and water conservation opportunities.
