Every day, Maryland Green Registry members are conserving energy, water, and material usage through practices that reduce operating costs while also reducing the production of greenhouse gases. Add up the total metric tons of greenhouse gas reductions resulting from these actions and it's pretty impressive: See 2017 annual results.
This year's annual member contest, the Maryland Climate Champion Challenge, aims to recognize these contributions. Share at least five climate-friendly practices that your organization has in place and you'll be listed on the website and entered into a prize drawing at the annual awards event.
Make your organization's impact go even further by updating your Maryland Green Registry profile to share the practical steps you've taken to inspire and inform others interested in reducing their organization's carbon footprint.
Laura Armstrong Maryland Green Registry Coordinator
P.S. If you'd like to donate an environmental product or service for the prize drawing, just let us know at green.registry@maryland.gov Thank you!
