Attention coastal boaters,
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers vessel Murden is expected to conduct dredging operations in Ocean City, Maryland, starting around July 17. Operations should last approximately 15 days and conclude at the end of the month before the White Marlin Open.
The maintenance dredging will focus on the typical priority area in the federal channel, and the bypass dredging will take material from the borrow area – both will be placed at the near shore placement site along Assateague.
Please be mindful of your wake while traveling near the work site. Interested mariners may contact the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers dredge via marine band radio VHF-FM channels 13 and 16.
