Every Wednesday in February
5 p.m. at Camp Store/Check-In Parking Lot

Join our weekly walking group for comradery and exercise. This is an easy, stroll through the park for all ages and abilities.

February 8: Nature Paintbrushes
3:30 p.m. at Nature Center

Make your own paintbrush using natural materials! Then use it to create your own nature inspired piece of art!

Corn Snake

February 10 and February 20: Snake Feeding
1 p.m. at Nature Center

Come see our corn snake at feeding time! While she is being fed, be prepared to learning some awesome information about snakes!

February 22: Fire Building 101
1 p.m. at Nature Center

Join us for a fun and educational adventure as we learn how to build, light, and maintain the perfect campfire! Along the way, we'll practice fire safety and enjoy s'mores! Dress for cold weather!

June 7: Paddlefest
8 a.m. at 26280 Alfred J. Lawson Drive, Crisfield

Join the staff at Janes Island State Park for the third annual Paddlefest! We have events for all ages to enjoy from guided paddles tours to children's activities, and even the Janes Island Challenge!

Unless otherwise noted, events are held rain or shine, free and fun for all ages; donations are always welcome. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult.

Dress for the weather/activity, wear sunscreen and insect repellent, bring plenty of water and snacks, and check for ticks.

Annual Pass Available for Purchase
$75 for Marylanders; $100 for out-of-state visitors

Our annual State Park and Trail Passport grants unlimited day-use admission and boat launching at state parks, and a 10 percent discount on state-operated concessions and boat rentals. 

To enhance convenience and value, this year's pass will arrive in a self-contained packet with a detachable hang-tag, and will be valid for a full year from the month of purchase. 

Our network of state parks include more than 900 miles of trails for biking, hiking, and horseback riding, as well as unique water access and camping facilities.
