Chronolog Beaver

Chronolog with Us

In October, we installed a Chronolog station on Oak Point Trail at the beaver habitat area. Chronolog stations are relatively low-impact installations which are essentially a bracket mounted on a post. The exciting feature of the Chronolog project is that any park visitor can use the phone stand to take a photo, and the bracket ensures all photos are taken in the exact same spot. As visitors submit their photos to Chronolog via email, everyone's photos are compiled into a record of the area's appearance over time. For spots in our park which are likely to show interesting change over time, such as the beaver habitat area, Chronolog is a tool which can help record that change. The Chronolog website provides a place where everyone can view the time lapse in its entirety. We hope you'll visit, submit a photo, and watch with us as beavers change our park for the better!

For more information about Chronolog, you can visit their website by clicking here.
