January 14: Skiing by Candlelight 5-8 p.m. at the Lake House (weather permitting)
Don't miss this rare opportunity to ski by candlelight! The Turnpike Trail (blazed green) will be lined with candle luminaries until 8 p.m., and cross-country ski rentals will be available at the Lake House throughout the evening. January 15: Make and Take Bird Feeders 5-6 p.m. at the Nature Center, next to the Lake House
Drop by the Nature Center and learn how to make your own suet cakes and other bird feeders. This is a come and go style program, so feel free to stop by anytime during the program time period.

January 15: Movie Night - Brother Bear 7-9 p.m. at the Lake House
Enjoy this free showing of "Brother Bear" (Rated PG) by a warm, crackling fire. Popcorn and drinks will be available for purchase at the Snack Bar, as well as complimentary s’mores.

NEW! Ranger-led Snowshoe Experiences Weekdays in January and February
New Germany State Park is now scheduling private, custom, ranger-led snowshoe experiences. Couples, families, youth groups, and others are invited to learn about the sport, practice new skills, and explore the park with an experienced park ranger. Each lesson and guided hike will take into account the guests' unique needs and abilities. Private snowshoe experiences must be scheduled in advance and are subject to ranger availability and snow conditions. Snowshoe rental rates apply. Unless otherwise noted, events are held rain or shine, free and fun for all ages; donations are always welcome. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult.
Dress for the weather/activity, wear sunscreen and insect repellent, bring plenty of water and snacks, and check for ticks.
