March 26: Furs, Feathers, and Skulls! 1:30-3 p.m. at the Lake House
Drop by the Lake House for this hands-on program, where Ranger Noah will be displaying a collection of furs, feathers, and skulls. Test your knowledge of local birds and mammals, and learn about the unique traits that set these animals apart. This is a "come and go" display, so feel free to stop by any time during the two-hour window.

March 26: Board Games and Birds 4-6 p.m. at the Lake House
Gather at the Lake House and play some board games with friends and family, or kick back and watch the Lake House bird feeders to see which native birds make an appearance. Feel free to bring your own games or choose from the park's collection.

March 26: Movie Night: March of the Penguins 7-8:30 p.m. at the Lake House
Gather 'round the fireplace and stay toasty-warm during this free showing of March of the Penguins, a documentary chronicling the harrowing journey that emperor penguins make amid violent South Pole snowstorms in order to mate. Popcorn and drinks will be available for purchase at the Snack Bar.

March 27: Maple Syrup Hike 10 a.m.-noon at the Lake House
Join Ranger Noah for a fireside chat about the history of maple syrup making, followed by a moderately difficult 1.5-mile hike highlighting some of the tools of the trade.

Unless otherwise noted, events are held rain or shine, free and fun for all ages; donations are always welcome. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult.
Dress for the weather/activity, wear sunscreen and insect repellent, bring plenty of water and snacks, and check for ticks.
