Keep Maryland Beautiful Program Awards Grants to 13 Maryland Land Trusts
“These grants support the incredible efforts of citizens across Maryland who are stewards of our communities, our green spaces, and our waterways,” Maryland Department of Natural Resources Secretary Jeannie Haddaway-Riccio said. These annual grants are funded by Maryland Environmental Trust, a unit of the Maryland Department of Natural Resources; the Forever Maryland Foundation; the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development; and the Maryland Department of Transportation. Lt. Governor Boyd K. Rutherford Announces the First Maryland State Park Week Celebration
Lieutenant Governor Rutherford presented a proclamation from Governor Larry Hogan declaring April 10 to 16 Maryland State Park Week and recognizing the important role that state parks and recreational areas play in the lives of Marylanders.
