Maryland Environmental Trust and Harford Land Trust Protect 48 Acres
The new 48-acre preserve owned by the Harford County Chapter of the Izaak Walton League is now protected forever. The Maryland Environmental Trust worked with Harford Land Trust and the Izaak Walton League to ensure that the forest and fields along Otter Point Creek will remain wildlife habitat free from development. The conservation easement that protects the land was donated by the Harford County Chapter of the Izaak Walton League to the Harford Land Trust and Maryland Environmental Trust.
