New conservation tool available to anglers. As part of a new awareness campaign, the department has launched a striped bass advisory system to help anglers protect this species while enabling trip planning up to a week in advance.

Avoid the worst -- safety first! The Maryland Natural Resources Police aim to keep waterways safe this summer with a number of boating safety initiatives, including Operation DryWater. Officers will be on the water providing heightened enforcement and awareness about the dangers of drinking while boating.
