Scoping of Possible Regulations (Ideas Being Considered)
During the scoping process the Maryland Department of Natural Resources is gathering suggestions and ideas from stakeholders and others about how to solve a fishery problem or address a need. The goal of scoping is to identify issues, potential impacts and reasonable alternatives associated with the issues so that management actions can be developed.

Proposed Regulations (Proposal Published in the Maryland Register)
A regulatory proposal for each of the following topics has been printed in the Maryland Register. The public comment period is 30 days. The department is seeking comments on each proposal. Comments provide the department with additional information and perspectives.
