Park Quest in Tubman Country
Harriet Tubman relied on members of the Underground Railroad to assist her in her journeys to freedom. In this Park Quest Bonus Quest you will meet those who supported her with food, water, shelter and medical care as she emancipated herself and others. We call this group of supporters the Original Team Tubman. This bonus quest is similar to a letter-boxing activity where teams will follow a map to find various stations on the Underground Railroad and meet the stationmasters.
The Original Team Tubman Quest is available from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. Pre-registration for an allotted time is required. Please complete the Google Form to register. Park hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day except Christmas. Arrival before 3 p.m. is recommended to allow time to complete the entire quest. Bring your team to meet Harriet's team!

Sights and Sounds of Freedom Junior Rangers
Understanding and appreciating our history is important for reflecting upon ourselves in the present day. At the park we aim to teach Junior Rangers about Harriet Tubman's life and legacy and the importance of the Underground Railroad. Start your experience by requesting an activity book from a ranger at the Visitor Services desk. Use the art and music inspired by freedom-seekers that you can experience in our Visitor Center and your personal experiences to complete the booklet. The Mini-Rangers, Trevalian and Kessiah, will be assisting you as you complete the booklet. Upon completion participants take the Junior Ranger pledge with a park ranger and receive a souvenir patch. Become a Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad Junior Ranger today!
