A winner from each participating county has already been chosen
by each local Forestry Board, composed of volunteers who are interested
promoting forestry activities. Each county’s first
place winner will be judged by the all-volunteer Maryland Urban
and Community Forest Committee.
This year, the committee is honored to welcome as a guest
judge Maryland First Lady Yumi Hogan, who is an accomplished artist and an
adjunct professor at Maryland Institute College of Art.
