Draft outline from FAMLI: Optional Self-Employed Plan (OSEP)

Dear FAMLI Stakeholders,

Thank you for engaging in our informal regulatory process thus far. We value your partnership and commitment to building a FAMLI system that serves all Maryland workers and employers well.

Many stakeholders submitted answers in response to the questions we posed in the Optional Self-Employed Plan (OSEP) Discussion Document. Attached is a draft outline of possible rules regarding OSEPs that reflects stakeholder feedback we received. We welcome additional comments, feedback and suggestions as we further refine the text. Written comments can be submitted via email to FAMLI.policy@maryland.gov by July 27. All written comments will become part of the public record. We look forward to hearing your input.
