Accessing the Sanitation Guidelines and Reopening Checklist for Barbers and Cosmetologists
The Maryland Boards of Barbers and Cosmetologists have prepared a reopening sanitation checklist for barbershops and hair salons to follow while preparing to open and operate. The boards suggest posting the checklist in a conspicuous location inside each business so that it is clearly visible to all patrons and employees. Download a copy of the checklist from our websites.
To navigate to the checklist from the homepages of the barbers' or cosmetologists' websites, select the Forms and Fees link in the left Features sidebar. The form is titled "Reopening Checklist for Establishments" and can be found at the top of the Forms section. There are two versions of the checklist in both PDF and Word formats.
