Comptroller Lierman to Meet with Baltimore City Council, Tour Bromo Arts District, and Visit Baltimore Office Staff Today

Comptroller to explore the Painted Path, Howard Row, Four Ten Lofts, and recently revitalized Lexington Market

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (April 17, 2023) - On the sixth stop – mid-way through her statewide “Branching Out” tour of Comptroller Branch Offices – Comptroller Brooke Lierman will visit Baltimore this morning. 

Comptroller Lierman will meet with the Baltimore City Council to update them on her first three months in office and legislative victories in the General Assembly.

Comptroller Lierman will tour the Bromo Arts District, starting at Maryland Art Place, with Amy Cavanaugh, executive director and board president, and Emily Breiter, executive director of the Bromo Arts District. Walking through Tyson Street, the Comptroller will see a portion of the Painted Path and talk with arts organization members and retailers she meets along the way on Howard Row. She will continue to Four Ten Lofts and wind up at Lexington Market.

At the Comptroller’s Baltimore Office, Comptroller Lierman will talk with staff and taxpayers seeking assistance with their tax filings. Lai Li Eppel is the branch manager, and Edward Wykoski is the director of Compliance.

The Office of the Comptroller has 11 branch offices throughout the state. During her time in Baltimore, Comptroller Lierman will meet business and elected leaders and community stakeholders to gain insight into their visionary ideas and enterprises.
