Comptroller Franchot on Friday will tour the recently opened Whole Foods that serves as the anchor of Towson Row, a $350 million mixed-use development near Towson University that includes student apartments, traditional residential housing, an extended-stay hotel, retail and office space.
The 60,000-square-foot market opened in January and features an upstairs mezzanine with a lounge, arcade and outdoor seating. A community room will be available for meetings and group functions. The Comptroller will present a proclamation to store manager Dan Shoemaker.
Media who wish to attend should email media@wholefoods.com in advance of the tour.
