Carroll County Department of Recreation & Parks Reopens Bennett Cerf & South Carroll Dog Parks
Westminster, MD, Friday, May 8, 2020 – The Carroll County Department of Recreation & Parks will be reopening the Bennett Cerf and South Carroll Dog Parks on Monday, May 11, 2020 with special rules of usage implemented for all members.
Conditions of usage require:
- Less than 10 members at all times in the dog park, consistent with Governor Hogan’s direction
- All members inside the dog park should practice social distancing, staying at least 6’ away from other users and should not visit if they are sick or were recently exposed to COVID-19, consistent with CDC guidelines
- People outside the fenced area waiting to use the dog park should practice good social distancing, staying at least 6’ away from others.
An email will be sent to all members providing the date of reopening with the new special rules implemented for a safe return to the dog parks. Signage will also be posted at both dog parks providing details of the revised special rules implemented.
