On February 21, 2019, the BCC unanimously voted to move forward with draft zoning text for the Commercial, Industrial and Employment Campus districts. The commissioners met over several weeks in work sessions reviewing and editing the recommended text provided by the Planning Commission. The next step, before scheduling a public hearing, is to share the changes with citizens and hear any concerns that can be addressed.
The draft Proposed Text Amendment for the Commercial, Industrial and Employment Campus Districts showing the edits and one without as well as an explanatory companion document is available on the website at www.Carrollrezoning.org.
An interactive map of affected properties is available on the website as well as a place for residents to provide comments.
