Cold Weather Shelter to Open Early Today, Sunday, March 3rd

Westminster, MD, Sunday, March 3, 2019 – Due to inclement weather expected today, Human Services Programs (HSP) of Carroll County, Inc. will extend the hours of the Cold Weather Shelter at 127 Stoner Avenue, Westminster from 3:00 PM today, Sunday, March 3rd until 8:00 AM on Monday, March 4, 2019.   The shelter may expand these hours further depending on shifting of the storm.  

The Cold Weather Shelter will return to its regular, daily operating hours of 7:00 PM until 8:00 AM beginning on Monday evening.

In times when overflow space is needed, HSP has partnered with the Westminster Rescue Mission to provide transportation to a limited number of alternative overnight accommodations.
