 More about Commissioner William Lauterbach
William Lauterbach served as a Carroll County Commissioner from 1982 to 1986. He served alongside Commissioner John Armacost and Commissioner Jeff Griffith. In an article from The Sun on November 13, 1986, Mr. Lauterbach named starting the Office of Public Information and the Office of Tourism as some of the positive goals he achieved as a county commissioner. After not seeking a second term 1986, Commissioner Lauterbach would later serve as Chairman of the Carroll County Planning and Zoning Commission.
Here Mr. Lauterbach can be seen presenting a proclamation to a former Mrs. Maryland winner.
