First Annual Chili Cook-Off to be held at Hashawha Environmental Center

Westminster, MD, January 11, 2017- Hashawha Environmental Center, a facility of Carroll County Recreation and Parks, will be hosting our First Annual Chili Cook-Off at our 31st Annual Maple Sugarin’ Festival and Pancake Breakfast on Sunday, March 5, 2017. 

In keeping with the maple sugar theme, competitors will be required to use a real maple product in their recipes, providing a unique experience for competitors and event attendees alike. All funds raised from the event will benefit programs at Hashawha Environmental Center. Cash prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Prizes will also be awarded for People’s Choice and Best Booth Display.
