Thursday, January 12, 2017 - The Board of Carroll County Commissioners wishes to honor Michael Fowler, who has worked for the Baltimore Gas and Electric Company (BGE) for forty (40) years. Mr. Fowler began his career at BGE as a laborer in a local power plant and in 2002 he assumed his role as External Affairs Manager where he managed 12 jurisdictions including Carroll, Howard, Montgomery and Prince George’s Counties as well as municipalities within those jurisdictions.

As a true professional, Michael integrated himself into local communities by volunteering his time and talents and served on the board of the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce from 2008-2013 where he focused on legislative issues and economic development. 

Michael is an inspiration to many people and his leadership and expertise will be greatly missed by all his peers and the communities he has served.
