"Working to Make Baltimore Second to None!"

Dear Leaders,

Reviewing, questioning and approving the City's Budget is one of the City Council's most important duties. This week the Council held it's annual budget hearings with city agencies. Each agency leader presented their proposed budget and were asked questions about each service by council members. I am pleased to report that unlike years past, there are no cuts to services or fee increases in the proposed budget. However, the council still went through the budget line by line to make sure that the best interest of Baltimore's citizens. Being a steward of tax payer dollars is something that I take very seriously and rest assure that I will continue to do so. For more information on the proposed budget please visit this site.

Sincerely,

Councilman Brandon M. Scott
2nd District - Baltimore City Council
