NFL Back to Football 5K

  

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists of the traffic modifications in effect for the NFL Back to Football 5K. The event will be held on Wednesday, September 04, 2013 starting at 6:00 p.m.

  

The 5K course will begin on W. Hamburg Street in front of Unitas Plaza. Participants will proceed east on Hamburg Street, right on Leadenhall Street, right on Ostend Street, and right on Sharp Street. Runners will turn around on Sharp Street, right on Ostend Street, right on Wicomico Street, and left on Scott Street. Participants will turn right on Hamburg Street, right on Paca Street, left onto W. West Street, left onto the southbound Russell Street service drive, and left into Lot R. The course proceeds right onto W. West Street, left onto the northbound Russell Street service drive, right onto Hamburg Street, left into Lot B, continue to Lot C and right onto the Gwynns Falls Trail to finish in M&T Bank Stadium.

 

In preparation for this event, one lane of travel will be coned off for participants along the race route wherever possible. Commuters should be advised that temporary traffic stops may occur along the race route for the safety of participants.   Motorists traveling in the vicinity of the run should allow additional travel time in anticipation of this event and should be on the watch for pedestrians while traveling in this area.
