Baltimore Police Seek Public Assistance in Mt. Vernon Sexual Assault Investigation
Baltimore, MD / May 30, 2013 - Baltimore Police detectives are seeking public assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a sexual assault that occurred around 2:45 am on May 27th in the 900 block of N. Calvert Street. The victim advised police that she was walking home from work when she was approached by an african-american male who threatened her with a knife and forced her into her home.
While inside the home, the suspect demanded the victim’s cellular phone and money and proceeded to sexually assault her. The victim was then forced to escort the suspect out of the residence, where he was captured on video surveillance.
The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5'7" tall, thin build, light brown complexion, slight facial hair, wearing a dark blue jacket, faded black or gray pants and black sneakers with white soles. The suspect also wore a dark colored book bag and a chain with a huge medallion.
