Weekend Road Closures
The Wake Up Event
The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists of the road closure in effect for the Wake Up event which will be held on Saturday, November 03, 2012. The event will take place at the War Memorial Plaza beginning at 12:00 noon.
In preparation for the event, Gay Street will be closed to through traffic between Fayette and Lexington Streets on Saturday, November 03, 2012 from 6:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. with detours and parking restrictions in effect. In addition, two lanes of Guilford Avenue will also be closed between Lexington and Gay Streets during this time.
Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for pedestrians and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
Charles Street Lane Closures
This Saturday, temporary lane closures will be implemented along a portion of Charles Street for a crane lift operation. On Saturday, November 03, 2012, temporary lane closures will be implemented along N. Charles Street at the intersection of Mt. Royal Avenue from 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. At least one lane of through traffic will remain open along Charles Street during this time.
Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
Lexington Street Closure
On Saturday, a portion of Lexington Street will temporarily close for a crane lift operation. On Saturday, November 03, 2012 Lexington Street will be closed to through traffic between Howard Street and Park Avenue from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon with detours and parking restrictions in effect.
Motorists traveling in this vicinity are encouraged to use alternate routes.
Lane Closures Along Gay and Orleans Streets
This Saturday, temporary lane closures will be implemented along portions of Gay and Orleans Streets for a building demolition. On Saturday, November 03, 2012, temporary lane closures will be implemented at the intersection of Gay and Orleans Streets from 6:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. At least one lane of through traffic will remain open along both roadways during this time.
Motorists traveling in this vicinity should watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
