Weekend Road Closures
Great Big Halloween Parade of Light & Luminaria
The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists of the road closure in effect for the Great Big Halloween Parade of Light and Luminaria which will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2012. On Saturday, October 27, 2012, Linwood Avenue will be closed to through traffic between Eastern Avenue and Pratt Street from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. with detours in effect. Parking will also be restricted in this area during this time.
Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for pedestrians and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
Charles Street Lane Closures
This Saturday, temporary lane closures will be implemented along a portion of Charles Street for a crane lift operation. On Saturday, October 27, 2012, temporary lane closures will be implemented along N. Charles Street at the intersection of Mt. Royal Avenue from 6:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. At least one lane of through traffic will remain open along Charles Street during this time.
Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
Pulaski Highway Ramp Closures
This Saturday, various ramp and lane closures will be implemented along Pulaski Highway in the vicinity of Erdman Avenue for milling and paving work. On Saturday, October 27, 2012 the following ramp closures will be implemented from approximately 12:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.:
- The ramps from westbound Pulaski Highway to northbound and southbound Erdman Avenue
- The ramps from northbound and southbound Erdman Avenue to westbound Pulaski Avenue.
Various lane closures will also be implemented in the vicinity of the ramp closures. Motorists traveling in these vicinities may encounter delays and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
St. Paul Street Closure
On Saturday, a portion of St. Paul Street will temporarily close for a crane lift operation. On Saturday, October 27, 2012 St. Paul Street will be closed to through traffic between Saratoga and Lexington Streets from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with detours in effect.
Motorists traveling in this vicinity are encouraged to use alternate routes.
