Alleged South Baltimore Drug Dealer Will Watch July 4th Fireworks from Central Booking After Police Find Guns, Drugs & Cash During Raid

Traffic Stop & Community Intelligence Leads Police to Shut Down a Suspected Drug House in South Baltimore


BALTIMORE, MD / JULY 4, 2012 - Acting on community intelligence, officers from the Southern District’s Cherry Hill Crime Reduction Team executed a narcotics search and seizure warrant yesterday afternoon at 2643 Norland Road.  The investigation started as a result of tips provided by the community and evolved after police conducted a car stop resulting in a narcotics arrest connected with the suspect and the house.

Detectives seized more than $11,000 in US currency, a police radio scanner, BPD raid jacket, a small arsenal of weapons, 3 dirtbikes and a cache of illegal narcotics. 25-year old Charles Wilson was charged in connection with the incident. He will face drug and weapon possession and trafficking charges.
