Homicide Detectives Arrest Four this Week in Connection to Three Separate Murders
June 7, 2012/ Baltimore, MD - The Baltimore Police Department’s Homicide Section has closed three separate murder investigations this past week. Four individuals have been arrested and charged with first degree murder.
On May 28th, officers responded to a residence in the 1200 block of Woodbourne Ave. for a cutting. The victim, 47 year old Ettice Jones was found on the floor of the basement suffering from multiple stab wounds to her body. Police have charged 44 year old Kevin Whittington for her murder. Whittington was arrested June 6th.
On May 13th, officers responded to a residence in the 1600 block of E. 32nd St. for a serious shooting. 19 year old Lacy Lamb had been shot at the residence while playing video games. The suspect fired a handgun into the basement striking the victim in the chest. On June 4th detectives arrested 19 year old Sean Randall for the murder of Lamb. In addition, Randall is charged in connection with a non-fatal shooting that occurred in the 1600 Block of Chilton St on May 13th.
On June 2nd, officers responded to the scene of a serious stabbing located in the 1200 block of East Lafayette Avenue. 42 year old Antoneo Mattison was stabbed multiple times and died from the stab wounds. Police have arrested 35 year old Emanuel Fowlkes and 26 year old Temeka Clark for the murder of Matttison. Both Fowlkes and Clark were arrested on June 3rd.
Detectives attribute community intelligence as vital in closing these cases.
