Police Seize Guns, Cash & Drugs from Home in Northwest Baltimore
Suspect is a convicted gun offender and believed to be a noteworthy supplier of drugs in the community.
Baltimore. MD / June 6, 2012 - As part of a continuing investigation into violence associated with drug activity, Baltimore Police Detectives from the Northwest District executed a search and seizure warrant at 5307 Liberty Heights Avenue yesterday afternoon and seized a considerable amount of guns, cash and drugs.
The target of the warrant Mr. Roger Dyer was inside of the home when police arrived and advised that he had drugs, guns and money inside. Dyer is a convicted gun offender and prohibited from possessing firearms.
Investigators believe Dyer was a supplier to Northwest Baltimore's drug supply and contributed to violence in the community.
"These are not your average guns," Baltimore Police Major. Johnny Delgado said. "This is somebody that's not just selling on the corner; we believe this individual is engaged in a higher level of illegal activity."
In addition, police seized a taser, bullet proof vest, photos, suspected drug packaging material and a 2001 Chevy Tahoe.
Detectives are working with their partners at the Federal Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco Firearms and Explosive (ATF) are continuing the investigation and working to trace the weapons seized from the home.

GUNS:
Glock 19 with 13 loaded with cartridges
Matchpiece Arms Mac 9 loaded with 24 cartridges
Bryco .380 semi-auto loaded with 7 cartridges
Bersa .45 cal semi-auto stolen from Westminister Md.
H & R 22 cal. recover loaded with 6 cartridges
Mossberg Pistol Grip Pump Shotgun loaded with 5 cartridges
SUSPECTED DRUGS:
221 grams raw heroin
15 grams crack cocaine
1 ounce marijuana
MONEY:
$24,440.00 US currency
