Mayor Brandon M. Scott Announces Fall Clean Up and Day of Service
Baltimore residents can register now to volunteer at cleanup events across the city on Saturday, November 21
BALTIMORE, MD (Wednesday, October 7, 2026) - Mayor Brandon M. Scott, the Baltimore City Department of Public Works (DPW), and the Mayor’s Office of Community Affairs (MOCA) are inviting residents, community associations, students, and volunteer groups to join the Mayor’s Fall Clean Up and Day of Service on Saturday, November 21, 2026.
The citywide volunteer event will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with cleanup activities taking place at locations across Baltimore. Volunteers must register in advance to participate.
“Keeping Baltimore clean and beautiful takes all of us working together,” said Mayor Brandon M. Scott. “This event gives residents an opportunity to roll up their sleeves, show love for their neighborhoods, and work together alongside our city crews to make an impact. I’m calling on lottie dottie and everybody—residents, community associations, and volunteers of all ages—to join us, get involved, and help to build the safer, healthier, cleaner neighborhoods all Baltimoreans deserve.”
“The Fall Clean Up is an opportunity to see firsthand what we can accomplish when DPW crews and Baltimore residents work together,” said DPW Director Matthew W. Garbark. “Our employees work every day to keep the City’s streets, alleys and neighborhoods clean, and this event gives residents an opportunity to join us in that effort. Building on the momentum of the Charm City Cleanup, we’re continuing to bring people together to make a visible difference in neighborhoods across Baltimore.”
