Final Suspect Arrested in Downtown Baltimore Assault & Robbery which was Captured on Video
Baltimore, MD / April 25, 2012 - This morning after midnight, Baltimore Police arrested 21 year-old Shatia Baldwin for her involvement in a March 18th assault and robbery that occurred in downtown Baltimore.
The incident, which was captured on cell phone video and went viral across the country, helped investigators identify and locate the suspects. Baldwin is seen in the video as the female in the red hat prior to the assault who allegedly states, “lets take his car keys”.
She was the fourth and final suspect that was located just one day after Police released photos and asked for public assistance in the case. Yesterday, 18 year old Deangelo Carter was apprehended and on Monday April 18th, 20 year-old Shayona Davis was located and charged with armed robbery in connection with the attack. Davis is shown on video using her high heeled shoe to strike the victim. She was held on $750,000 bail On April 13th, 20-year-old Aaron Parsons, who is accused of punching the victim, was also apprehended. Parsons surrendered to Police after discussions with his attorney and was held on held on $500,000 bail.
